This privacy policy explains how CP Therapy uses the personal data collected from you when you use the CP Therapy website. CP Therapy is operated by Ceri Parry Psychotherapist MSc and this privacy policy relates specifically to this website.

CP Therapy securely stores your data in a password-protected system that complies with GDPR and other privacy regulations. We will retain your data for no more than five years after our last communication. Once this period has expired, your data will be permanently deleted.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to use your personal information to contact your GP or emergency contact. This will only occur when we have a duty of care or are required to do so by law.

Supervision

In accordance with the BACP code(s) of practice, psychotherapists are required to carry out continuing professional development and engage in regular ongoing clinical supervision. This ensures an ethical and professional service to clients. Ceri Parry Psychotherapist MSc may discuss your case in supervision but will not use any identifying or confidential details. Supervision is conducted in accordance with the BACP guidelines.

Online platform

Therapy Notes

CP Therapy maintains brief process notes of therapy sessions for record-keeping purposes. These notes are kept confidential, ensuring that clients remain anonymous. They adhere to the standards set by regulatory or accrediting body, such as BACP. This information will also be detailed in the therapeutic contract and discussed verbally during your initial assessment with Ceri Parry, Psychotherapist MSc.
